What is Emisha?

Emisha City Hack is Bulwayo’s first hackathon of the year and will be run at the Techvillage, where, as a participant, you get to showcase your tech or design skills and hustler mentality whilst creating solutions for the City of Kings. The teams that qualify will receive a chance to pitch to the City Council with the opportunity of creating a viable business.

A pleasing mixture of Victorian and modern architecture gives this city a unique character.

It is the heart of a tremendous wide sweep of the western parts of Zimbabwe; the second largest, best run and organised city in the country. With an estimated population of about 1 million fully integrated people with diverse culture.

Located at a vantage point in the Sub-Saharan Region, Bulawayo forms the axis of a well-planned road and rail network along the North-South Corridor Initiative.

There after you will be contacted within 24 hours inorder to complete the purchase of the ticket.

Attending the BootCamp is a must! It will help you understand the subject matter.

You will be taken through a crash course on how to effectively tackle the problem and develop relevant solutions by the TechVillage.

Using the acquired background information and training, you will become part of a team on Day 1, to start developing and testing respective solutions/products.
